GIVING BACK to the community

Giving back is something that I take pride in volunteering my time to make a difference in helping those less fortunate in our community.

Preparing meals for the homeless!

ST FRANCIS TABLE

“St. Francis Table was established in 1987 with the purpose of helping the impoverished people of Toronto. It is a cozy and distinguished restaurant located on 1322 Queen St West in Toronto that welcomes the poor to enjoy a three-course hot meal for the cost of one dollar.

St. Francis Table began as an initiative established the Capuchin Franciscan Friars who had the vision of creating a sense of faith with the poor. The Friars decided to do this by providing them with an opportunity to enhance their sense of human dignity. Thus, the restaurant is equipped with a dining hall, a busy kitchen, a relaxing lounging area, and a humble chapel. It is now operated by the many volunteers and welcomes various student volunteer groups year-round.

For over twenty years, the St. Francis table has served the underprivileged population of Toronto, and they are calling on you to help. You can volunteer and donate to their year-long. If interested, please contact through their website https://www.capuchinoutreach.org/ “

GRATEFUL FOR GIVING BACK AT ST FRANCIS TABLE WITH FRIENDS AND FAMILY!

“At the end of the day it’s not about what you have or even what you’ve accomplished… it’s about who you’ve lifted up, who you’ve made better. It’s about what you’ve given back.” ~ Denzel Washington
